Current Market Outlook
BLOG POST: Our Current Market Outlook is “Uptrend Under Pressure” and our light is “yellow.“
The stock market has basically marked time and moved sideways for most of December, despite recent incremental closes at all-time highs. The market appears to be digesting November’s sharp gains, which came when the “Blue Wave” didn’t and may be pausing to refresh. However, the bullish sentiment is so ridiculously high that it is looking more like gunpowder waiting for a match that could set off a massive wave of “smart money” selling. Hence, the yellow condition.
Our Current Market Outlook is barely hanging onto the yellow light with its “Uptrend Under Pressure” condition. This yellow condition could last for a while, however, with the likelihood of big cataclysmic events happening in Washington over the next 2 weeks, it is more likely that the market will be shoved violently into either a soaring green or a bludgeoning red condition as we move into the new year and lead up to the inauguration.
As the new year starts, ask yourself this question: What is my most valuable possession?
Things? Finances? I hope not.
Family? Health? Friends? That’s better.
Your faith?
It is not something that I possess, but rather the One who possesses me. The free gift of eternal life through belief in Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior is, therefore, my most valuable possession.
Lord Jesus, our country, our culture, has lost its way. Calling evil, wicked & destructive things or habits good, while despising wholesome & virtuous choices and labeling them as evil. Many of us are in a deep fog (especially spiritually) and we don’t even realize it. We have become so distracted by the “bling” of life and the way-too-numerous voices shouting at us daily. It seems we cannot even hear You, even if we wanted to. Please break the cords that are binding Your children, and rescue those that are perishing by rejecting Your offer of salvation through their apathy, ignorance, defiance or pride. Lord, we need a revival. I beg You for a revival! And Lord, please start with me and my household that we may desire to honor You above all things and to love others (all made in Your image) well. Please grant us the grace to confess our sins to You, to turn away from them, and to ask You for forgiveness. Please also extend mercy to our nation (corporately) and to each of its citizens (individually). Not for our glory, but for Yours and Yours alone. In Jesus name. Amen.
