All-Time Highs and Blue Skies

As the calendar draws to a close on the first 6 months of Trump 2.0, the major indexes are pushing out to all-time highs as if they didn’t have a care in the world and the only thing contrary was the hot summertime breeze. Of course, the experienced investor knows that the stock market usually climbs a wall of worry and so “up she goes!” as there is plenty to be concerned about, at least if you believe CNN (we don’t!).

There is also much to be encouraged about, yet the legacy “fake news” outlets can’t seem to bring themselves to accept or broadcast/print that point. Tariffs, Middle- East war, riots in LA, DC tax bill negotiations, and even a spat between powerful billionaires haven’t been able to derail the green signal (confirmed stock market rally) that was proclaimed/published here on May 1st.

One may ask, “how this can be? How can stocks go up in the face of all this uncertainty?” The answer is actually quite simple: it’s the economy, sir. And not only what is visible today, but the tsunami of financial improvements that are coming our way as a result of the Trump 2.0 earthquake that rocked the establishment just a few months ago. We’ll have a front row seat to view (and hopefully participate in) what happens when you awaken a sleeping giant (largest economy in the world)! Buckle up.

That’s not to say that the market will never go down again or that some of the issues facing us won’t assert themselves negatively for a time. We expect volatility and fluctuations and (while in an uptrend) we welcome them. Risk management will always be paramount. But sometimes ignoring the naysayers (sore losers, or worse!) and focusing on what “the money” is really doing rather then what their puppets are telling us is a more fruitful approach.

Today our Current Market Outlook remains “Market in an Uptrend” with a green light as it has been since May 1st. Our Core Four is green with 3 green lights and 1 yellow.

Game plan: Enjoy the summer heat and praise God for electricity and AC! Regarding stocks, don’t let your guard down! The President and over 50% of our country have adversaries and they may not rest until he (we) looks bad! The Bible says to pray for those that persecute you and to forgive them. Technically, it’s not an option. Pray for discernment from the Lord Jesus regarding stewarding His wealth, and for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6-7). May they prosper who love her.
