Current Market Outlook
BLOG POST: Our Current Market Outlook is “Market in a Correction” and our light is “red.“
Our Current Market Outlook was downgraded to “Market in a Correction” with a red light as of the close on March 27th, with the SPX @ 5,693.31, after falling to stay over the 21-day and suffering immediate “distribution days” on the 26th & 27th. The new rally attempt is weakening and still searching for a “Follow-Through Day” (FTD). Be careful as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are situated well under their own 50-day mav’s. Our Core Four has moved back to red with 3 red and 1 green light and with the VIX back above its all-important 50-day mav (a tie-breaking negative). This remains a dangerous condition for the stock market but is still very dependent on next week’s tariff decisions.
Four days ago we wrote, “This is still a VERY critical juncture for the stock market. A bounce (rally) is trying to develop, but real risks loom in the weeks ahead. A retest (or worse) of the recent lows is very likely between now and May. But who knows!? Maybe our trading partners will capitulate and we will win the tariff war… and the bulls will take back control… and up they’ll go!
But if they don’t, prepare your shelter (exit strategy) for more than a spring shower. A little “rain” is fine, but a severe storm would bring damage.”
The storm is here. Even so, remain open to “good news” next week that could spur a big short-covering rally.
Finally, ask yourself who is your Savior? Is it Trump or your political party? Or is Jesus your calm in the storm? Everything you have is His anyway. Do you trust Him with it and with your future?
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”
“Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they *woke Him and *said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Game plan: Continue bracing for the economic battles the new Administration is undertaking. Begin rebuilding your watch list and keep protecting your capital as there will be a more fruitful time in the future. Pray for discernment from the Lord Jesus. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6-7). May they prosper who love her.
